Title: Receptionist/Administrative Support

FLSA Status:  Full-time Employee/Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm

Benefits: Available after 60 days of employment: health, vision, dental, 401k, and PTO

Wage: Starting at $14.00/hour, dependent on experience

Summary: Answer phones and greet visitors in a prompt, friendly manner while providing a high level of customer service. Perform administrative and clerical support tasks as assigned to support multiple groups within organization.

 

Job Duties:

  • Answer,screen, and forward calls while providing superior customer service.

  • Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.

  • Perform administrative and clerical support tasks such as mail preparation and distribution, filing, faxing, organization and maintenance of front office area.

  • Maintain and update company phone extension directory.

  • Help facilitate company initiatives to include employee recognition programs and employee functions.

  • Support application process for job applicants and New Employee Orientation process.

  • Assist customers with order pick up.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Required and Preferred Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2+ years reception or administrative office experience preferred.

  • Familiar with telephone systems, business machines and computers.

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, email and basic internet usage.

 

Physical Demands / Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions will be considered.

  • Mid-level to high stress and fast-paced 110K SQFT office/production environment.

  • Individuals may need to sit at a personal computer or stand for long periods of time.

  • Safely lift heavy equipment (50lbs) when needed.
