Title: IT Operations Specialist

FLSA Status:  Full-time Employee/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Vice President of Information Systems

Purpose: Responsible for full life cycle recruitment for production staff positions throughout the company.

Ouray Sportswear is a Colorado based company providing decorated apparel throughout the United States for over 50 years. We support over 200 employees and have 90+ independent sales reps.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 70 % NETWORK/SERVERS*

  • Manage servers including: Exchange, AD, storage, IIS, SQL, internal/external websites, ERP

  • Maintain server back-ups and disaster recovery initiatives. Including data restores as needed

  • Manage security including: firewall, software updates, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems

  • Manage system hardware including routers, switches, hubs, and UPS back-ups

  • Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.

  • Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.

  • Maintain inventory and related documentation for all equipment or critical processes

  • Maintain and update all peripheral software and business systems as needed**

  • 15% USERS/WORKSTATION

  • Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user devices.

  • Provide first hand support, IT training, and troubleshooting

  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.**

  • 15% UTILITY

  • Conduct research on IT products and services in support of procurement and development efforts

  • Work with vendors to secure IT products and services.

  • Some night/weekend work is expected as needed to maintain systems*

Qualifications/Experience:

  • REQ: Microsoft Stack, Active Directory, DR and Back-up systems, Server Management

  • PLUS: AS/BS degree, Network+, Security+, Server+, or equivalent/relevant work experience, VM Ware, WSUS, IIS, MS Dynamics AX

  • Core personality

  • Communication skills, both verbal and written, to all competency levels.

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with an attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. **

  • Mid-level to high stress and fast-paced 110K SQFT office/production environment.

  • Individuals may need to sit at a personal computer or stand for long periods of time.

  • Safely lift heavy equipment (50lbs) when needed.
