Ouray of Hope
Founded in 2003, “Ouray of Hope” is a charitable program within Ouray Sportswear promoting goodwill opportunities and a sense of community spirit. Our main focus is giving back to our employee base. Currently we sponsor an annual school supply drive as well as a holiday toy give-away, supporting hundreds of our employee’s children. The Ouray of Hope mission is ongoing and ever-evolving to meet the needs of our employees as well as our local community.
Our Partnerships & Charitable Activities:
Holiday Toy Drive – Supported 35 families and 97 kids
Back to School Supply Drive – Donated School Supplies to 65 families
Big Brother / Big Sisters Holiday Party – Kids shop Ouray and wrap presents for their families
Cards 4 Kids – Create fun and unique cards for sick kids in hospitals
Father Woody’s – Donated thousands of garments to local men’s and women’s shelters

Our organization is committed to the ethical treatment of our employees and factory partners.
As a member of the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and the Ethical Supplier Engagement Program (ESEP), we work with our supply chain to ensure they are in compliance with industry standards and our Code of Conduct.
We use independent inspectors, Sumerra, and WRAP to evaluate working conditions and implement corrective action plans (CAPS) as necessary. Supporting our team members with the highest standards of social responsibility, equal opportunity and community service are integral to Ouray’s values.
As a part of the ESEP program, we have audited 7 of our factories worldwide which account for over 80% of our imported products.
Currently, 8 of our factories are Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certified. We are now requiring all of our factory partners become WRAP certified.
